“2nd Chance For New Beginnings runs two signature programs — choose the one that fits:
“The Tomas Bridge Initiative”
The Tomas Bridge Initiative is a 12-week program that brings digital literacy, confidence-building, and real-world career exposure directly to middle-school-aged youth (ages 11–14) through partnerships with schools and community organizations across Fulton and Clayton Counties.
Rather than waiting until a career gap becomes a crisis, TBI meets students early — helping them see what’s possible long before the stakes get high. Every session is designed and delivered in partnership with the schools and organizations that already know these students best.

Introduction: LaunchPath ATL
LaunchPath ATL is a signature program of 2nd Chance For New Beginnings, specifically designed to address the critical transition period between reentry and sustainable career placement. Named for the path it creates toward independence, LaunchPath ATL serves as the “connective tissue” that ensures no participant falls through the cracks of the employment system due to their past.
The core philosophy of LaunchPath ATL is that a job is more than a paycheck — it is a foundation for dignity, stability, and community reintegration. We recognize that the gap between a past mistake and a future career is often filled with systemic barriers. LaunchPath ATL systematically dismantles those barriers through a structured, four-pillar approach that prepares, trains, and places participants into high-demand roles within our partner networks.
By combining intensive case management with practical workforce development, LaunchPath ATL doesn’t just help someone find a job — it helps them build a life. We focus on the whole person, ensuring that by the time a participant completes the program, they are not only employable but empowered to lead and succeed in their chosen field

The Three Pillars:
Helping participants obtain IDs, Social Security cards, and birth certificates.
Financial literacy, opening a bank account, and time management.
Professional resume building, addressing employment gaps, and mock interviews.
Vouchers or classes for forklift certification, OSHA-10, or basic computer skills.
Moving participants into the 2nd Chance Staffing pipeline for immediate work.
Pairing participants with a success coach who has navigated the reentry process.
